A member asked:

Do people with cancer don't sleep very well?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes/No: It depends on how they are coping with their diagnosis and its treatment. There may be times when they are under stress which can prevent them from falling sleep easily. Depression is fairly common in such patients...that can prevent good sleep as patients would fall sleep OK but wake up early and then unable to go back to sleep. Medication is available to help them...just ask the treating doctor
