Don't panic: That's quite a jump: From headache to brain tumor in one step. It's possible but not likely. You may have heard of a kind of headache called "migraine." The word is a French corruption of the Greek word "hemicranium," meaning "1/2 of the head" because migraines typically affect only one side at a time. Only way to know for sure is to get a hands-on assessment in a doctor's office. Good luck.

A 31-year-old male asked:
Does persistent head aches related to tumor in brain?

Depends: Does this person already have a tumor DIAGNOSED and present in the brain? Or are you worried about the possibility of having a brain tumor based upon having persistent headaches? If the former then, this is not uncommon...if the latter then, a simple physical examination will disclose the likelihood that the headaches are pointing to something more complex inside the head (usually not though).
