I have a small sore area on top of my head i don't notice any tenderness until i brush my hair no headaches or other symptoms do it mean brain tumor?

No: Brain tumors do not present as sore spots on the top of the head. Classically there will be headache and vomiting or neurologic symptoms. If it gets more sore or spreads then it would be best to make an appointment.

Things on the: Outside of your skull, in or near your hair, are never brain tumor related, and likely benign. You may need to check with a dermatologist.
