200 mg: is the maximum dose, but most doctors will start at a lower dose, and slowly increase, to minimize side effects. Hope this helps!

Zoloft (sertraline): the maximum dose of Zoloft is 200mg per day. the max dose of Paxil (paroxetine) is 60mg per day but it is like comparing apples to oranges they work similar and are in the same class bur different chemical compounds
