No one best: The best antibiotic depends on the organism. Often it is a skin related staph or strep. Consider I&D to get sample of pus with culture. Some would treat with Cephalexin or Trimethoprim-Sulfamethoxazole. Cyst in groin, not pilonidal (only at base of spine).Groin cyst maybe ingrown hair, maybe hydradenitis suppurativa, requiring further eval and rx.
