130 to 140 lbs: The real answer to this question, as with most questions, is it depends. It depends on whether or not you have been close to this weight through most of your life. Ideal weight for a young woman at 5'7" tall is 135 lbs; at 53, it can be a little higher. But what is your body fat? Are you fit and muscular? If you have been 50+ pounds more than this for years, then 145 to 150 pounds would be great
