Keep breathing: If you are able to breath then your throat is not swelling shut. Keep breathing slowly in and out. You may need psychotherapy and medication for anxiety. See your physician first to make sure there is no medical concern. Medication is a fast way to manage intense anxiety. Psychotherapy can teach you the skills to avoid future panic attacks. Discontinue any use of any substances
