Tiny thorns: Some thorns are not visible. The pain they cause though can be pretty high. The pain reaction may be more apparent at first. This is common with metal splinters or shavings. In time the swelling may localize such that you can see the thorn or splinter. When you see it someone may be able to help you take it out. If it is hard to see your foot you may want to ask someone to take a look.
