A member asked:

I did recently a enoscopy and in the result it says: duodenal mucosal atrophy but no pathology. can it still be celiac disease? what else can it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: Diagnosis of Celiac disease can usually be made by blood tests. Small intestinal biopsy may be used to confirm the diagnosis and monitor the response to treatment. You have not provided sufficient information for a diagnostic opinion.
