By definition it is : not progressive if it has remained stable or improved over the past year. If your primary care or neurologist has not determined the cause & you have no history of tumor, trauma or infection that affected your brain, a neuropsychological evaluation will define the type(s) of memory loss & any associated neuro-cognitive impairments & recommend therapy options & mnemonic, or memory, aids.
