Hard to say: There are at least a dozen infections that can pass during sexual contact. This includes well known types like syphilis to less known types that include many forms of hepatitis. A negative PCR for HIV suggests your problem is something else. It may or may not be related to this sexual contact.Share your thoughts with your doc and have a full assessment done.
