Caffeine: It is a stimulant and has been shown in studies to help animals complete their task faster. Having said that too much caffeine can cause side effects and can set one up for withdrawal symptoms when pt does not consume the typical amount of caffeine. I would avoid these "energy drinks" and would recommend no more than 1-2 cups of coffee or soda a day.

Yes: A cup of coffee with small cream without sugar a day is healthy. Remember not to drink coffee after midday. Coffee can last up to 12 hours and may interfere with your sleep if taken later in the day

Depends: The U.S. Food and Drug Association has studied the effects of caffeine on the body and determined that "Moderate" caffeine intake was safe (Less than 300mg per day). Safe does not mean it is good and healthy however. There are concerns about caffeine and the effect it can have on bone loss, and it can affect other organs as well (heart/intestines). http://www.medicinenet.com/caffeine/article.ht
