Cherry Angiomas: Generally these are small vascular lesions that gradually appear and can be hormone related, or a sign of liver disease. Not aware of a connection to blood poisoning. That said you can have splotchy red lesions on your body as a result of infection, and 'blood poisoning'. If the lesions occurred recently or there are other symptoms like fever or malaise see a doctor ASAP.
