I had upper abdomen pain for about 5 days. doctor did an us and only found slightly thick gallbladder wall.the pain is gone, but i have no appetite?

Cholecystitis?: A thick gall bladder wall, with or without stones, may well be cholecystitis. If the pain was primarily in right upper quadrant or mid upper abdomen, I'd be inclined to make this diagnosis. Assoc. symptoms would be back pain,nausea,bloating w gas,maybe fever, and fatty food intolerance. Discuss with your doctor, and stay on low fat until sorted out. good luck.

Cholecystitis: What do you mean you have no appy., was it previously removed ?? Get a PIPHIDA scan to test the functioning of the GB.
