I had quadruple bypass surgery 4 months ago, is it safe to ride roller coasters now?

Roller coaster: This question is best answered for you by the physician(s) who know your situation best. One can't make a blanket statement for all bypass surgery patients. If such an statement is to be made, it would have to be the conservative one that you shouldn't ride the roller coaster.

Roller coaster rides: At your age, esp with cardiac problems, I dont think riding a roller coaster is a good idea. When the blood pressure goes up, heart has more strain which can be detrimental. Also, your skeleton is now 55 years old and unless you have been very active all your life, you may have skeletal issues as well. Damaged discs are something that can happen in the back as well as neck.
