How bad is quadruple bypass surgery on a woman 68 years old, with diabetes and not so good kidneys?

Specializes in surgery

Serious: Probably best option! but each item adds some risk. Diabetes, renal dysfunction have become quite common to have to deal with. 68 is getting younger all the time. Good preop care is important. No smoking lung incentive practice showers- hydration to have adequate urine diabetic control.
