Rearended: It is very common to damage your facet joints in a rear ended collision due to extension of the joints. At your age, healing would be fast and almost complete. Physical therapy will help keep the joints mobile, but as it may be painful, facet joint injections would help you do it without pain. At your age, inflammation is more likely than degeneration, so my advise would be steroid inj. not RF.
