Many: Other tigons are available besides the conventional endosteal implants, like subprriosteal implants in cases of loss of boney ridge of maxilla. Consult a qualified dentist or an oral surgeon for your best available options for your condition.

Nothing to worry!: In case that there's not enough bone or good bone in the maxilla, new techniques and materials are available to regenerate the amount of bone needed to successfully implants placement. Dental implants allow you to speak without the worry that teeth might slip and they should last a lifetime. Good luck.

Dental implants: Healthy bone in the maxilla is often a problem. Other options may be availble, but this cannot be diagnosed without an examination, x-rays and additional information. You need to discuss this with your dentist or implant surgeon for information about options. If necessary, get a second opinion from another implant surgeon (oral surgeon or periodontist).

Dental Implants: There are options available for the severely atrophic maxilla, such as the all-on-4 technique or zygomatic implants. Also, BMP is not always required when bone grafting. I would speak with an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with a lot of experience in treating complex atrophic cases.

All -on- 4: Research the All-on-4 option with dental implants. At By Design Dental Implant Center we treat many people with compromised maxillas. This technique lends itself to treating just such deficiencies in both the upper and lower jaws. Look is up and gain some knowledge and hope. See a Prosthodontist for evaluation and options. Well worth it ! Good Luck.
