A member asked:

Woke up with my left arm" asleep", seemed to take a long time to "wake up", could this be a minor heart attack if no other symptoms?

Compression injury: It is more likely to be a result of either compression on the nerves to your arm or impaired blood flow to and from your arm from compression. At 27 years old you are unlikely to have had a heart attack or stroke causing those symptoms.

Slept on your arm: What you describe is what would happen if the weight of your body ended up being on your arm for a prolonged period while you slept. It is not uncommon for people to sleep on their arm and awaken to find the arm is tingly or numb. This occurs either because of temporary compromise of blood flow or pressure on a nerve. It is highly unlikely this situation is related to the heart.
