Difficult: I am so sorry you feel this way right now. Things will get better! Therapy is airways advisable with depression. Sometimes medicine will not help, but therapy always had something to offer. Try natural things as well, work on sleep hygiene, exercise exercise exercise, which has been proven to help as much as many of meds, and change diet. See a therapist and avoid any form of self medication.

I'm ignorant: I have no idea of social service resources in Malta and what I'd heard over a decade ago was bleak. But that is one thing you need. Sometimes churches or schools can guide people toward and coordinate the various help they need - like a Social Worker. A skilled one could help w/ $, training, Tx, etc. Build a network. Ask at church, school or clinic - keep organized notes. Friends/family may help.
