A member asked:

If emg and mri was normal but still have twitching and tightness in calves, and twitching all over, should this be something to keep testing again?

Twitching: Those studies exclude the bad stuff. Think about dietary changes, nutrition consult, avoiding stimulants like caffeine, stress. Good luck.

Depends: some things are best left alone. I am an athlete and will watch muscles in my legs twitching for no reason when watching TV. The only times my calves aren't tight is when I am sick and don't exercise. Your doctor must take in the whole spectrum of your symptoms and how they affect you life and work to know how to proceed. If they do tests and they don't find anything, you are lucky.
