About

Bio

The brain is one of the great wonders of the world, and as a neurologist, I am a specialist in conditions that can affect the brain. I became interested in the nervous system while a philosophy student. This led me to medical school, then to graduate school where I did a PhD in neuroscience, studying how the brain processes information related to emotion. From here, I went on to complete my residency and fellowship training in Boston. We are in a new era when it comes to neurological disorders. Before, it was a field mostly focused on diagnoses. Today, new technologies and therapies are providing many new ways to diagnose and treat neurological conditions. With my clinical and science background, I am here to better your understanding of neurology and how it might be related to you

Specialties
Doctors may have more than one area of specialty interest. Board certification in a specialty area means the doctor has completed formal training and has practice experience in that specialty, and has passed the certification examination from the corresponding accredited medical specialty board.
