I have been on oxycodone for chronic pain for 3 years. is it safe to be on this medication long term?

Oxycodone: Best to treat pain with non addictive meds. Opioids cause dependence,drowsiness,urine retention and constipation. Alternatives are muscle relaxants, lyrica, (pregabalin) gabapentin , fish oil, coconut oil, herbals like tumeric, ,Vit D, calcium-deficient persons, magnesium ( in deficient individuals), B12 if deficient, non steroidals, PT,aqua therapy, kinesiotape. Discuss with doctor/pain doctor.
