It depends: If you are not being prescribed the oxycodone by your physician, it is not recommended. There are many other safer alternatives as opioid usage for chronic pain is a health crisis in our country and many people are getting addicted with severe consequences. Topical medications yoga tai chi and acupuncture have all been shown to benefit chronic pain.
