I checked my temperature and it's 99.8 have been on xifaxan, (rifaximin) watery diarrhea 3 days, severe cramps but feel ok today. should i be concerned?

Temp not super high: Normal body temp is 97.0 to 100.0 deg F. Normally, doctors don't get excited until the temp is > 100.4 deg F, so on that account, there is probably no concern. I'm not sure why Xifaxan (rifaximin) was prescribed (Dx?). It is used to treat various conditions, including hepatic encephalopathy & certain types of colitis. However, it can cause watery diarrhea as a side effect. I wd be more concerned about that.
