Yes, can be normal: There is a communication between your nose and your ears called the eustachian tube. It connects your nasopharynx to your middle ear and is normally closed, but can open briefly under the right circumstances. Every time you "sniff," you have a chance of opening the tube and may get some nasal content up the tube. To stop the drip, you may want to take the medical treatment your ENT offers, if so.
