A member asked:

Normally my blood pressure is normal but i noticed my blood pressure is higher hours after strength training and sometimes the day after. why is this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Physiology: Certainly for hours this is not surprising and is normal response to exercise, especially resistance training. This effect should not generally last for days. Be sure your BP is being taken correctly (accurate equipment, when you are at rest, correct cuff size, etc). Automated BPs, especially in public, may not be measuring accurately. If still high, see your PCP.
