It's possible: The chin is innervated by the mental nerves which are the final branches of the trigeminal nerve which innervates your lower teeth before exiting to your chin. It is possible for any pathology--toothaches, cysts, cancer--along the path of innervation to cause pain or numbness in the chin. See your dentist.

Yes: If a lower anterior tooth is infected/damaged/in traumatic occlusion it can cause chin pain.so the appropriate thing to do is see Dentist for examination. Remember to seek treatment for the cause, not just palliatives to block the symptoms.

Chin pain : Absolutely. Depending on the type of pain (acute, chronic, dull, sharp, intermittent, etc.) dental examination and X-ray is needed to determine the cause. If dental fillings are present, chronic trauma caused by oral habits, occlusion (bite), gum disease can all contribute to pain. You will need to see a general dentist to determine whether the cause is of dental origin.
