Some peoples teeth are sensitive to the hydrogen peroxide in the whitening strips. Levels of 5-6% peroxide is advisable, with shorter application time. Also don't drink any beverages that are hot or cold after application, only room temperature. If you try this, less pain and sensitivity.

Consult your dentist immediately. Overdoing bleaching of teeth without professional supervision can be harmful. Get your gums and chin checked. Do not continue bleaching. Rinse your mouth with cold water more often
