A member asked:

I have asthma and going to move in a new room which is just finish painiting in five days, is it harmful, bad for health or has any risky?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Be careful..: Usually irritants that smell very strong can trigger asthma. It all depends what type of paint was used and how strong it is. Usually if you can still smell it it could potentially cause respiratory irritation and asthma symptoms. If that is the case wait a couple of more days in order to stay in the room for a significant amount of time.
