Dental cleaning.: That sounds like gum disease: gingivitis or periodontitis. If your last cleaning was recent, schedule a follow-up with your dentist to determine the cause of your relapse. If it's been a while, it's time to schedule that dental visit.

See a dentist: Sore and bleeding gums can be a sign that you are at risk for, or already have, gum disease. Untreated gingivitis can lead to the tooth loss and other health problems. See your dentist ASAP because the sooner you treat it the better the outcome.
