I was prescribed a lidocaine patch to wear 12hrs on 12hrs off . the patch doesn't seem to stay i put in on my upper back and neck how do i keep it on?

Lidoderm patches: Make sure you are putting the patch on clean dry skin that has no residual soap or lotion on it. You can add an additional adhesive to keep the patch on, or clean the area with a loofa brush, which exfoliates the skin and allows the patch to stick better. Some of my patients first clean the skin off with alcohol, and wait 30 minutes before putting on the patch. Try this and see if this helps

Lidoderm patch: Hi, make sure ur skin is not greasy, clean ur skin with alcohol before putting it on, it should stay on.
