Im 30 weeks and 4 days i have the medicine to take for trichonomiasis will my baby have it when shes born?

Possibly: This is not a common infection spread to the child if treated before birth. But studies have shown trichomanas infection could cause premature birth and low birth weight. So follow up with your doctor. Good luck

No: the medication is safe to take in pregnancy so if you are itching a miserable take it. The baby is fine and won't have it

Probably not: Although theoretically, babies in the wombs can be affected from any maternal infection or medical condition of their mothers, it is extremely rare for babies to get trich from their moms, especially after being treated successfully. Prematurity and early rupture of membranes etc are more common complications of this infection. Good luck:)

With treatment no: No since you are currently being treated. Trichonomiasis will not affect the baby at birth. It is an STD transferred during sexual contact. It can cause premature labor, low birth weight, and possibly infect the child during the birthing process if left untreated.
