Avoid fatty food: You are45 and pregnant. Avoid fatty food that causes irritation of gallbladder. You have to get through pregnancy first so try not to give into too many cravings. Rest assured that if gallbladder be ones symptomatic surgeons can take out gallbladder during pregnancy bit it is not taken lightly. Hope this helps

Diet is best: If you're having biliary symptoms while pregnant, your best approach is a very low fat diet, to reduce the activity of the gb. If miserable, surgery can be done in 2nd trimester. I make some adjustments, e.g. lowering the laparoscopic pressure, and placing the initial port in the RUQ, avoiding the uterus. See a board certified surgeon, and I suggest a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons.
