I would see a Dr.: My concern is that your child may have some breathing issues. I would get your child examined with a doctor for thorough history and physical. I would not recommend any nebulizer treatments unless already prescribed by your doctor.

?irritants?: The first months are troubled by narrow nasal passages exposure to dust, fragrances, smoke & other irritants.This often ends as congestion & produces rattling with breathing. The best rx is washing out the nose with saline & SUCTIONING the remainder. Eliminate irritants from babies environment & this will happen less. Cough syrups make them worse.Nasal drops without suction are a waste of time.
