Ovarian Cyst: Most ovarian cysts will resolve without surgery. Sometimes we will give Birth Control pills to try and shrink them. You howver, have quite a large cyst that is giving you a lot of pain. I would consult with your GYN to see if they reccomend surgery. In my patients with painful cysts this large my refering GYN's will usually do surgery.
