I'm resistant to metronidazole for BV I took the 1 g daily dose of tinidazole and it didn't work.did it not work because both antibiotics are similar?

Yes: bacterial vaginitis can be frustrating. It may have more to do with other factors than infection such as the Ph of your fluid and the phase of the cycle although the infecttion part was properly treated
