Not permanent: Congratulations on deciding to quit smoking/using e-cigarettes at your young age! This is especially important since you have asthma. It is very unlikely that you have permanently damaged your lungs. While e-cigs can be addicting with their nicotine, since they are not burning they don't deliver toxins to your lungs. Not sure why you are feeling terrible; see your doctor for evaluation.

Doubtful: Your asthma is probaly not been affected yet. That said you have lung disease and should not smoke at all, even e cigarettes. Congratulations on quitting. Stay on your medications, contol your weight and stay physically active. Prove to the world that you are as healthy as they are.

No damage: Although just a few cigarettes may affect your lung according to some studies, it takes years of smoking to lead to clinically lung impairment. The jury on e-cigarette is not out yet, but I suspect that it will either be declared innocent or only slightly guilty in causing lung damage. Best- avoid all 2nd best- e-cigarette likely safer than cigarette itself.
