Advair: Advair is a combined long-acting bronchial dilator and a steroid. When used alone, the former has been implicated in adverse side-effect on the heart. Fortunately, that does not happen when combined with the steroid. Its chronic use can cause mild growth stunting of about an inch during a child's growing years. Advair is an excellent inhalation medicine for the control of asthma.
