Same side effects: Advair is combination inhaler containing an inhaled steroid (fluticasone) and a long acting bronchodilator (salmeterol). The Budesonide is an inhaled steroid and the Perforomist is a long acting bronchodilator. Same classes of medications and therefore same potential side effects as advair. Only thing really different is the method of delivery.

Asthma: You are on the same classes of medications .Advair is fluticasone and salmeterol . The advantage of the nebulized medications is that they can be easier to use when you are short of breath. Most patients say they feel that they get more of the medications when they are nebulized versus orally inhaled especially when they are short of breath, .
