Monitor carefully: If the area is red, swollen, hot to touch, very painful and there is discharge. Always keep cuts clean, dry and do not touch.

Redness & tenderness: Redness & tenderness and local warmth are important early signs. Local swelling in the area and pus drainage are worse signs. Hope that helps. It's important to get it evaluated and treatment.
