A member asked:

Please tell the reason hiv is not transmit through using same soaps, if an infected person use the soaps in their cuts/wounds and an uninfected person also have open wounds and use the same soaps.. if the virus remains in small amount in the soap?

Fragile virus. We find great differences in the ability of viruses to survive outside their preferred habitat. For HIV that is the blood flowing inside the body. Expose it to the outside and it dies, much as you would on the surface of the sun.
