Infant constipation: Most likely reason is formula intolerance. Please keep in mind it is not lactose intolerance, rather milk protein intolerance. Would recommend using Gerber Good start, if no change in 2 weeks then need to go to Alimentum or Nutramigen. If symptoms still persist after these changes you may need to be seen by a specialist. Karo syrup is OK for short term. May also use baby fleets enema as needed

TRY PRUNE JUICE: Do not routinely stimulate.Give 15 ml prune juice wi15 ml water once a day.do this daily for 5-7 days until regulaand use it as needed but dont wait too long after the baby skips a bowel movement.
