Exercise!: Medication management along with therapy is always going to be working much better with a lifestyle change of having a routine aerobic exercise include some weight resistance exercise. As naturally endorphins and serotonin get increased in the body with each instance of exercise producing effects that last greater than one day. So doing exercise 2 to 3 times a week covers the entire week as an anti-anxiety maneuver.

Try psychotherapy: Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) is a very common disorder, and can run a prolonged course resulting sig problems in QOL, role functioning etc. Medications like SSRI [Lexapro, Zoloft (sertraline) etc], Busper works.
