My ear has been high pitched ringing non stop for 2 days.not sore.what could b causing this? is there anything i could take to stop over counter?

Tinnitis: Wax could be causing this.Most likely an inner ear infection--get the ears checked out.Put mineral oil drops in the ears--this will help clean the wax if that is the cause.If it does not help see an ENT doctor.
