Yes you: should be concerned. I would sees doctor and have this looked at to find the etiology.

Needles and Pins.: Pins and needles are almost always involved with nerve impulse being interrupted. Depending on the area of the sensations will help identify the etiology. A competent specialist should have no problem finding the cause and initiating proper treatment.
