A member asked:

My newborns foot will sometimes shake when i push it in but not always. when i read up it says ankle clonus. hes only a month old, is that normal? happens randomly and not for long, stops eventually. mostly when sleeping?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

This is normal and a reflection of his immature nervous system. As the system matures the feature fades, usually by a year to 15 months when they progress to walking stage.
