A 30-year-old female asked:
My mom moves her hands a lot - like squeezing her hands, fidgeting with her fingers, shakes her foot from side to side every so often (like a tapping) can this be hormonal or a neuro issue?

Symptoms: She might just be a bit ansy. No responsible doctor would try to diagnose with this limited information. These may or may not be symptoms of a medical problem. A comprehensive assessment would need to be done to make that determination.

Agree with Dr. F: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor, preferably a neurologist.
Wish you and your mom good health!
