Possibly: Progesterone and Estrogen have been known to effect bowel motility. In other words it is not uncommon to hear a patient constipated before or after their period arrives. Diarrhea has several causes, but some patients have had irregularities close to period. If it persists and if you have never had this addressed, it would be appropriate to have a complete history and exam by your doctor. Cheers
