What is the maximum amount of weeks for an ultrasound to be off in pregnancy . can be as much as 7-8 weeks?

Not really: If the sonogram is 7-8 weeks off from how far pregnant you think you are then you are probably wrong with your dates for getting pregnant. An ultrasound in the hands of a competent sonographer can be between 1-3 weeks off but not 7-8 weeks.
